IN PERSON CONSULT

In my Lafayette office or in the comfort of your own home for the brand new ones, we will discuss in detail your health, pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding experience.  We will weigh the baby to get a better picture of growth.  Most consults also include a weighted feed to see a snapshot of how much milk your baby is taking from the breast, an oral assessment, and we will end with an individualized care plan with a plan for future communication if needed.  
Initial Consults last 1.5 - 2 hours.

If you are struggling with any aspect of breastfeeding (pain, milk supply, tongue tie, reflux...) or other infant feeding, I can help.  My caring approach is focused first on  listening because your instincts are infinitely important.  I believe it is important to find out why your breastfeeding struggles are occurring and not just put a "bandaid" on the symptoms. 

VIRTUAL CONSULT

Virtual consults look surprisingly similar to in person consults.  I rely a ton on videos and pictures from you.  The only difference is that we don't measure intake with a scale.
